  We had a serious drainage problem in our backyard — every time it rained, it looked like a river was running through our yard. I spoke with several well-reputed landscaping companies in Columbia and Jacob Porter with Rost was the only one willing to take on the challenge. They handled the project beautifully, and now our yard drains perfectly — no more river! Jacob and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and meticulous in their work. We were so impressed that we asked them to help with our front yard as well. They selected a wonderful variety of low-maintenance plants that look stunning and complement our home perfectly. Since the work was completed, we’ve had multiple neighbors stop by to ask who did our landscaping — and I’m always happy to recommend Rost. We couldn’t be happier with the results!

  Our experience from start to finish with Rost Landscaping for our stone walkway was all positive! Nate was wonderful to work with and did an excellent job designing our project and overseeing it to the end. The workers that demoed the old, very thick front walk, laid out, completed and cleaned up the new walkway were wonderful! We're thrilled with the finished project!   Had a couple yards of mulch delivered, along with a couple surprises, apparently. The broken pitchfork was immediately evident, the screwdriver bit popped out with it. Remains to be seen what other "treasures" I'll find in that mulch pile, but the anticipation is killing me! Seriously, though, I've had worse experiences with companies, but this is one of those things that just make you say "C'mon man... really?". I've used them for bulk delivery one time prior, and that time they were a no-show on delivery-day and did not notify me. Again, not the worst transgression I've suffered, but just kind of leaves one unimpressed with their business.
