    DO NOT USE LOWE’S FOR DOOR INSTALLATIONS As the son of a former contractor, I am embarrassed to admit I should have known better. If your idea of quality is having to rely on sub-contractors of sub-contractors for a first rate installation, I can assure you it is instead a complete loss of institutional control. I am now two months past my installation of a Thermatru door from Lowe’s. To date, all I have experienced is frustration and disappointment in having to chase Install Partners (one-off the sub-contractors) to fix the scratches, gaps, and the need to use a putty knife to close my door that still sticks. Yesterday, Install Partners called me an hour and twenty minutes into a four hour window they had finally given me (for an appointment a month after I had originally requested it) to tell me they couldn’t make it. I had taken the day off to be at home to be available for the long overdue repairs to their installation. I was given a new date three and a half weeks later. If you have a masochistic personality, please feel free to make the choice to select Lowe’s as a partner for a door installation. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

    We bought a new oven from Lowe's and have had a broken oven delivered twice in a row by their third party delivery company. I do not recommend buying appliances requiring third party delivery. It has been an exhausting experience dealing with them and we have been gaslit by both Lowe's customer service and the third party delivery company about the appliance being delivered broken.

    Purchased $1698 in LG washer and dryer on 11/26 to replace broken washer. Included install and paid for haul away. Scheduled delivery for 12/2 was cancelled by Lowe’s 12/1. Lowe’s rescheduled for 12/7 (soonest said they could provide delivery). Delivery, install and haul away conformed for 4-8pm as stop 16. At 7 pm when I called Lowe’s myself, was told delayed till 9 pm and 2 stops before us. Delivery arrived at 8:15 and told could only bring into garage and not install nor haul away. Refused to do what we paid for and service we were “sold” by Lowe’s to expect. Staff refused to haul away, nor give us paperwork and would only put our appliances in garage (our laundry room is only 5 steps beyond that). Said someone would be in touch to install/haul away. I was on phone with Lowe’s customer support (btw now can not install nor haul away for another week) and heard how we were treated while the 3 delivery people refuse to talk to us nor do the delivery/haul away paid for and almost ran over my husband with their truck. First and LAST time I will ever by appliances from Lowe’s !!!

    just want people to know that I’ve had several good experiences at the Lowe’s in Chesterfield Valley. Everybody’s so kind and friendly there and this morning I had a cashier go away above and beyond and I appreciated it. A lot of times people don’t post positive, but I felt it was necessary.
