    Good Afternoon, Our overall experience with Lowes today in Cape Girardeau, MO was abhorrent. Chris, the cabinet guy was extremely unpleasant to work with. The countertop guy was on lunch and we were told someone else was going to help us. In comes Chris, and right off the bat it seemed like he was annoyed at being bothered. He made us feel like complete morons the entire time and then tried gaslighting me when I took offense to the way he was treating us. I almost snapped, but I had to calm myself down. Joking is one thing, this guy was berating me with pretty demeaning comments. I get you gotta work buddy, we all do. He needs to work on his customer service skills. He was unnecessarily abrasive and snickered at the way we said the name of some countertop. He also snickered when he read the measurements we took of our countertops at home, as if they weren't going to come out and measure them anyways at a later point in time. My wife and I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time we were in there and he's pretty fortunate I didn't snap on him like I was super close to doing. Chris was straight up friction and extremely unpleasant to work with. We were both in shock of how rude he was. It's one thing to have a saltine cracker (dry) sense of humor, but it's another to constantly make someone feel like they are ignorant. Put Chris in the back where other customers don't have to have unpleasant experiences with him. I wrote down the other rude remarks he made yesterday. Overall, I'm still in awe of his attitude. We stayed because the financing made since with Lowe's and my wife really liked the specific countertop we chose.

    This review is based solely on ordering a door. A door was ordered and paid for last summer. Lowes came to our house to measure for the correct size. It was out of stock however we were never notified. After several months we contacted Lowes when they told us we couldn't get the door. We said we want a refund. We were told they couldn't refund our money. A new door was selected. A date was arranged for installation. On that date, no one showed up. We called and were told they were on the way. No one ever came. When we reached out to discuss our frustration we were told they didn't have records of any measurements and no door. This entire experience has been frustrating. We did finally receive our money back. Lowes had several opportunities and failed miserably.

    DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE WITH A PROTECTION PLAN!. They have nobody in this area to service your appliances therefore leaving you weeks before you get service. Then they claim you recieve $50 if not fixed within a week of service. Its a lie. They close the claim and start a new one so they do not have to pay. They are scammers. Use a local small business that will come out and repair things you bought from them. Lesson learned. Don't fall into the same trap i did. * To add to the response from Lowes. I have went down multiple paths to get this resolved and recieved the exact same response every single time. How this company operates is not right and you scam people into thinking they have the backing your advertiser. 3 weeks and counting and still no fixed washer. We went and bought another from someone else due to the untimely manner in which this has gone. No you want me to hook the broken one back up and hope the repair people show up. Not happening!
