  I’m genuinely excited to give a quick shoutout to a company that specifically asked me not to. In fact, the owner of this landscaping organization reached out and said it best: "We don’t do these things for recognition—we do them because it’s the right thing to do, and we prefer to do them quietly." But some things deserve to be said anyway. My brother-in-law is currently deployed, fighting for our country, leaving my sister at home with three young kids. Anyone who’s lived that reality knows—there’s a lot to carry when a spouse is away like that. My dad, my brothers, and I have done what we can to help, but there were some major projects that required more than just effort—clearing trees, tackling massive overgrowth that had taken over a large part of the yard… the kind of work that needs real equipment and time. That’s where Poynter Landscape Architecture & Construction stepped in. Not only did they completely clear the property—giving the kids space to actually play again—but they’ve continued to show up. Regularly. Quietly. Cutting the grass, fixing the fence, clearing gutters… just taking care of things without ever being asked. No spotlight. No announcement. No expectation of anything in return. They simply saw a need—and acted. I actually had to pull strings just to get their name, because they never mentioned it to anyone. This is what doing the right thing looks like. This is what makes this country great. Let’s spend less time feeding negativity online—and more time recognizing that there are truly good people out there, doing meaningful things when no one is watching. Grateful for people like this. Truly. Thank you Bob Wilhelm and the Poynter team, keep up the best work.

  We cannot recommend Poynter Landscape enough. We have used them for hardscaping, pool work, planting, bed maintenance, fencing, and more. They can truly do it all. Poynter is always on schedule (a hard quality to find!) and their quality of work is just as impressive. We'll continue to work with them forever! Thank you to Bob, Michelle, and the entire team for always taking such great care of their customers.

  We had Poynter replace a large hedge for us. Margaret, Neil, and Orlando worked together to come up with a plan and executed it perfectly. It was a large job but they completed it in 2 days and it is perfect. Several neighbors even commented on their work ethic and how great it looks. We have an ongoing maintenance agreement and every time they come, the yard looks fantastic. We highly recommend them.

  To say we are pleased with our new patio by Poyner would be a massive understatement. We are absolutely ecstatic and couldn't possibly be happier. This new outdoor space dramatically expands our living space and also solves our only significant complaint about this property (our former water issues, now addressed). The design is wonderful and the quality of the Poynter team's work is absolutely top notch. Their work crews are extremely professional and we'd like to especially compliment BJ and Carlos on their leadership and attention to detail. We highly recommend Poynter for anyone looking to seriously upgrade their outdoor spaces.

  We hired Poynter to design our front yard as well as help with water issues. They are fantastic to work with each time. We've now hired them for our yard maintenance in addition to our new backyard design. thanks Poynter!
