  Raquel was awesome. First time renting a storage space and she was very patient and kind and so helpful! Space itself was a bit smaller than I thought ( wall pillar takes up some of my space) but I'm guessing that accounts for the lowest price listed for that size? I am not sure and I didn't ask since it's not too big of deal. So far so good thanks to Raquel!

  This has been the most disappointing experience I’ve had since renting a storage unit here. I was assigned a unit on a floor that couldn’t be accessed even with the unit programmed into the app that you’re forced to use. There’s no other way to get in or out of the building. We wasted time with movers because the actual staff couldn’t reach the unit, and customer service was no help. We had to ask if we could be reimbursed one month of rent, as the only other option the manager gave us was to pay more for a different unit. The app is completely useless. Doors won’t open, close, or do anything else. It’s not ideal when you’re there at night by yourself. The office and elevators smell of weed and cigarettes, and the manager was very aggressive about asking us to leave her a review, as well as our movers. I wish we had a better experience similar to others, but that wasn’t the case.

  This place is the only storage facility I would ever use! First, it is so conveniently located in downtown/lowertown Saint Paul. The street to enter is a one-way so traffic getting in and out is never a problem. Second, the staff here are amazing!! Tiffany welcomed us our first time at the facility. She was so knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. She took the time to show me how the app worked to remotely access the garage doors and elevators. She brought us up to our unit - twice! Once to initially show us the unit and then again to bring us two free locks! We had signed up online and there was a promotion for a free lock and Tiffany made sure that was honored. She was so helpful! Another perk to this storage facility is the app and amenities. You can remotely access everything you need from the app and they have tons of dollies for you to use right by the elevator. Best yet, you can drive right up to the elevator so loading and unloading is a breeze! The unit itself (we rent a 5x10) was much more spacious than I was imagining. It’ll easily fit all of our stuff and then some! And it is a corner unit so close to the elevator so it’s very convenient. It is painted nice and was impeccably clean. The storage in it areas are very well lit. They also have huge dumpsters for garbage should you need it. I did a lot of research online for different storage units and this was the most affordable by a long shot! All in all, we couldn’t be happier with choosing Extra Space Storage! Thank you Tiffany and all the staff at Extra Space Storage!! You all made the process so easy and seamless!
