We are very pleased with the love seat hide a bed that we had delivered on November 26 . However, they brought the wrong recliner and we were told that the correct one would not be ready for delivery for 8 weeks!

I had a very frustrating experience at La-Z-Boy yesterday. From the start, the sales associate I worked with strongly smelled of cigarette smoke, to the point that it gave me a headache and made the interaction uncomfortable.
I found a chair I liked, but the only one they said was in stock was the same color as the floor model, which I did not like. However, since that was the only option available and I needed the chair for an upcoming shoulder surgery, I agreed to move forward.
She confirmed multiple times that the chair was in stock, and the signs on nearly every recliner also stated “in stock and ready for delivery.” I told her I was going to check another store and would be back. When I returned, she again confirmed it was in stock and offered to sell me the floor model. When I asked if the floor model would be discounted, she said no. We all know how floor models are treated, so I chose to purchase a new one instead.
After I had already paid, she told me the delivery would not be until January 8, which is over a month after the purchase date. I asked how something advertised as in stock and ready for delivery could be that far out. She involved a coworker and made a phone call, and they then offered delivery on December 31. I also offered to pick it up myself to make it quicker, but was told that was not possible because the warehouse is in Illinois and there were delays due to the holidays.
This was especially frustrating because I am having shoulder surgery on December 29 and needed the chair sooner. At that point, I said I would come back the next day to get a refund.
On my way home, I looked at my receipt and noticed it was for a rocking recliner, even though the chair I sat in and specifically asked for was a power recliner. This was also the chair she removed the tag from. I called the store and spoke with another associate who confirmed that the wrong chair had been entered. She then told me the power recliner was actually one thousand dollars more expensive.
So not only was the delivery timeline misrepresented, but I was also sold the wrong product at the wrong price. I was told the only accommodation would be allowing me to take the floor model, which was incredibly frustrating, especially since I was planning to replace both of my recliners.
Overall, this was a horrible experience with poor communication, misinformation, and lack of product knowledge. The only positive part of the experience was the second associate I spoke with on the phone, who did apologize and tried to be as helpful as possible given the multiple mistakes that were made.
