The SMSC Organics Recycling Facility (ORF), is an enterprise owned and operated by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC). We are part of the SMSC’s focus on being a good steward of the earth. At the ORF, we recycle organic materials —like paper, food, and yard waste—from residential, commercial and municipal customers. Then, we craft a nutrient-rich, natural fertilizer for gardening, farming, landscaping and more. We also process wood to be used as mulch and a renewable energy source. Our Dakotah Roots products are available for retail and wholesale.

Highly Recommend working with Dustin. He helped me design my entire lawn/garden 2 years ago and it is all BOOMING! greenest grass and more garden yields than ever before. All I do now is topdress and weed killer

Super fast delivery! (Same day after-hours) Some of the other reviews said service was bad, but I had a great experience. Guy giving a quote over the phone (Dustin?) was very nice & laid out the options/prices clearly. Looking forward to buying from them for future projects!
