we brought a refrig monday and decided to haul ourselves when found out could not deliver until fri despite being available in store, picked up tues only to discover when unloaded refrg at our house that it was not the one we bought......it was 36" with water dispenser and we bought 33" no dispenser......they had loaded the wrong refrig....talked to sx department who said would bring out right refrig and pick up wrong one.... waited 2 hours and called to see when they would come ...was told a manager would return call in 15 min.. waited 45 min and called back and was told no delivery sx available until fri.......told them that refrig was outside .....they asked that I take refrig inside .....by now had lost my help moving refrig and only had 2 people to move refig into house up 4 stairs..... so reloaded refrig back on trailer and hauled back..... .when got to store asked for manager and after delay did get to talk to him.......felt like they could offer discount because of error.....took numerous paging w no response to bring right refrig out....."store was short staffed"......only offer $40 store certificate when they charge $40 for delivery and we had to make 2 trips.....we are in 70s and had 2 of us to manage this due to their lack of communication. it took 4 people to unload off our trailer at the store.......and the refrig we were given by mistake sold for $1900 .....the one we bought was $900.......a mistake that would have cost the sore $1000.

Very disappointed today trying to return an item. It was on clearance but not final sale. It did not say final sale or no returns on the sticker or the receipt. I am stuck with a light that does not fit in my bathroom. There are no signs posted saying no returns on clearance items. Lowe’s has lost a long time customer over $63. I have purchased many large ticket items (appliances) over the years. I will not be returning to Lowe’s!
