I loved the available platform dollies by the entrances of the building - it made life easier. As always, ESS has an easy and quick process to enroll and cancel the unit rental. I’ve been a client on and off for years in TX and MN.
- JRJay RizzoDec 23, 20251.0This place is being deceptive and ripping people off. We signed a 6 month lease of a unit. Paid the total 6 months up front at a rate of approximately $64 per month. If you signed up monthly it was around $68/month. Once our 6 month lease is up (February 2026) our new monthly totally will apparently be $120/month. Doubled the amount of the monthly rental rate of $68/month. What a scam. I called and spoke to management and they said yep it looks like your rate doubled and we can't do anything to lower it or even match the rate they have online for the same storage unit (which is now actually lower than our original $64/month rate). We will not be extending our storage past February. Don't rent from here they will get you to move everything in then hike your rate to try and force you to stay because they are being on you not wanting to load everything up and go somewhere else. Deceptive!!!!

There’s an app that can securely unlock the access gate and doors for you (can also type in a long code at the gate/doors). The customer service has already been amazing the two times I needed help with something. So happy I chose Extra Space Storage.
