Jody was a great saleswoman!! I was buying a mattress and she really helped me determine the best one for me! She also put a lot of time managing the Sales price VIP coupon and delivery. Very pleasant person and I would seek her help again in future purchases... also appreciated Jeff, the manager, helping to deal with computer updates... very good experience today all around!

The showroom and sales experience was great, the entire experience after that from coordination, status updates, missed and inaccurate deliveries, and set up was all hot garbage. I love the furniture though.

We went to see the BOGO sale just to look even though we weren’t moving for 8 months. We found out the Schneiderman’s will hold everything until we needed it. So we decided to work with one of designers to see what we could accomplish. We had 3 days before flying home. Tonya was amazing. It didn’t take her long to figure out my style. She was positive, pleasant, and knew what she was doing. We completely furnished a large 2 bedroom apartment. What was really nice was she put together a presentation with all the wood and fabric samples so we could see how everything would look. Without knowing what my budget was, she came in under budget. I never felt like she was pushing me toward very expensive pieces.
I would unequivocally recommend Tonya and Schneiderman’s.

I've bought furniture from Schneiderman's twice. The first time, I bought in-store through a sales person. It was quick and easy. Their sales people generally left me alone while I walked through, which is a great thing for me. They will check in every once in a while if they run into in their store, but otherwise, they leave you be. Keep that up!
The second time, I looked around and bought through their website. Just as easy, and I didn't have to talk to anyone about furniture protection and all that. I'd recommend using their white glove delivery if you buy a lot of furniture at once - otherwise, if you're handy and have time, just have them deliver the furniture and put it together yourself.

Updating from 1 to 4 stars as the service recovery on this was satisfactory. They arranged a free delivery to my home on 11/7 and it came first thing in the morning, plus they set everything up in my home as well, making it hassle free to get my furniture. Thank you.

Drove An Hour, Followed Their Instructions, and Found a Locked Door.
Bought a loveseat and chair on 10/30. Earliest delivery was 11/11. Asked about pick up and was initially told I could pick it up on 11/1 so I went with that option to have my furniture as I needed it immediately.
On 10/31 I was left a voicemail and sent an email that I will actually need to pick up on 11/4 at the store. I verified it was the store and not the warehouse on a call back I made that same day.
Fast forward to 11/4. I take off work early to arrive at the store before closing. I drive an hour in rush hour traffic with a family member who took time out of their day to assist with their truck, arriving just before 5:30pm.
The employee on the floor looked at me like I was crazy when I told them I was picking up furniture and said I must be mistaken. I showed them the email I had with the instructions to come to the store on Tuesday evening and they have someone look up my order. They took two second glance at the computer and instructed me to go to the warehouse down the street. It is 5:30pm and they close at 6 so we rush over.
We arrive to a locked door with a sign on it saying pick up hours end at 5pm. No one from the store had the courtesy to advise us of this.
I call the store back and ask why they sent me to the warehouse knowing I was picking up furniture if the pickup hours ended at 5. The woman on the phone said she doesn't know what I’m talking about and tells me she doesn’t personally remember sending anyone to the warehouse. I ask about a refund at this point and she gives me the managers extension telling me to call back tomorrow.
I replied to the email I was sent asking why I wasn’t given the specific instructions and hours to pick up at the warehouse. To my surprise I get a pretty immediate reply saying the following:
“I apologize for your experience. My manager was fully aware that you were picking up at our store. We will surely give you a full refund.”
The person who helped me when purchasing was wonderful and actually had terrific customer service, her name was Susan.
I’m not sure what happened with the breakdown of communication with the rest of the staff about the pick up but I am left feeling so disrespected and disappointed after having my time and energy wasted. Horrid experience.
