  Great experience. Hal came out today and did a thorough job checking out our chimney and concerns we had. He was so clear in explaining the root cause and what our options are. He was friendly, low pressure and so informative. Great company overall, and Hal was great!

  Hal spent over three hours cleaning and inspecting my chimneys and fireplaces. He was very thorough and told me what he was seeing and what was concerning. He provided estimates and detailed explanations of what needs to be fixed, how it will be fixed and different payment options. He told me that he treats every customer like he would his own parents. That was awesome to hear. I have some decisions to make, but I am confident Hal gave me all the info I need in order to figure things out. I will definitely recommend Chimney Doctors to others!

  While getting my house ready to put on the market I called Chimney Doctors to do something about my leaky fresh air vent. While Trace was looking at that, he asked me when was the last time I had my chimney inspected. I thought about 5 years and also thought it would be a good idea to take a look to see that it would pass inspection on sale. He discovered evidence of a chimney fire and assured me that this would be covered by insurance. The estimate came in at $21k. Farmers agreed that it was covered and turned it over to an adjuster. Trace's documentation was so good that the adjuster didn't even need to see it in person. Trace was my advocate all the way through the claims process, and when the adjuster balked at the need for the $2,500 metal cap for the top, Trace continued to educate him and his supervisor and persuaded them that it was necessary and required. They agreed to cover the entire estimate. I could not have accomplished this on my own. Victor and Danny came out this week and are finishing up today. They were friendly, courteous and informative of the process. They were also very nice to my curious cat. I couldn't be happier that they turned a potential disaster into a positive selling point for my house! Chimney Doctors has my highest recommendation! Jan Bjork
