  I would have given a five star review if I did not have to walk way to the front part of the store to find a associate to help us in the rug department. Once we got Alex to help the experience was better. She answered all the questions we had about the area rug that we purchased.

  Was there a long time and finally snagged a salesperson. I was not approached by anyone , was it because I didn’t have my husband with me? I was in commission sales Al my life I would have starved to death if I was as layed back as your sales people. Finally found a gal. She was very helpful

  I recently ordered some new stools online, and I called in to order an in-store only option. While speaking to the sales rep, I asked about unboxing, assembly, etc, and she was able to note my request. I was very happy with the pickup… And then I got home and realized *I* made an error ordering the wrong size when I did the online portion! I had to call when they were open again, but it was a hassle-free conversation on the phone getting an exchange setup. This is the level of customer service you don’t see much of anymore and how you retain customers.

  My wife and I went to HOM to buy an area rug for our dining room. We had looked at rugs there previously and knew what we wanted. The sales associate, Edylyn, did a great job informing us of the sale that was in progress on the rugs, what a 3 year service warranty would cover and cost, plus the cost of having the rug delivered and set up. She checked on the availability of the rug we wanted and found out it was available and also provided some date options for delivery. We settled on a date, paid the bill, and were on our way! Everything ran very smoothly and Evelyn was very thorough and helpful. We have shopped at HOM several times over the past 7-8 years and always been pleased with the products and service we have received.

  My furniture order came on time as promised, but it was the wrong fabric and wrong color. Both I and a friend that assisted me in finding and purchasing my furniture called customer service. We weren’t able to connect with the consultant who wrote up the sale but did speak with another (Donna Owens). She explained the how it happened (it was an error in recoding the sale as the fabric was no longer available and the initial consultant should have seen that) . Ms Owens worked with us in finding a solution (we are returning what was delivered and switching out with the floor model). She handled everything from getting approval for the switch, a price reduction since the switch was with a floor model to arranging the pick up/delivery within just a couple of days. I highly recommend her!
