  Hom Furniture was the third store I visited looking for a new recliner. I was really pleasantly surprised by the selection, quality, and range of prices. I found the perfect chair which had an adjustable lumbar support as a bonus! I also received a 10% military bonus for my service in Vietnam. I would highly recommend the store and in particular James, who is very personable and made my experience pleasant.

  I rushed into HOM after another carpet distributor dropped the ball on a time-sensitive order. Chris in flooring was amazing. He crunched numbers on a couple different carpets for me and verified they were in stock. It was too late in the day to get any delivery information, so he drafted an order for me, then called to finalize the next morning as soon as he'd figured out whether delivery or pick-up would be the quickest way for us to get our carpet. So grateful!

  Great experience! We worked with James Giese and he was so great to work with. We were looking for an updated couch that would wear well. We found one we liked but weren’t quite sure, he called us with another option that ended up being an even better fit we are so excited about. Also the cookies and soda are always a fun break stop!

  I have always bought all my furniture there but I'm going to have to think about that for the next time after this experience . I left I thought the coffee table. I wanted to buy a coffee table today one that lifted up so it was almost a desk. I was told that I would have to pay $100 to have them put it together and deliver it. I have a truck I just wanted to take it home but I'm not putting together something that I have to pay $400 for not put together. If I want furniture to put together I would have went to IKEA.

  We purchased a rug from Victor at the Bloomington HOM Furniture store. Victor is amazing, he knows his product. Everytime we'd want to know something about a rug, he knew all the details. He was wonderful to work with, friendly, knowledgable and let us make the our decision with no pressure from him. We wanted to look at a few rugs close to the bottom of the pile. Victor had two young strong men flipping the rugs for us. That's the first time that's ever happened, normally we'd have to go through the pile ourselves. We decided against all the rugs they dug out for us until we saw one 3 rugs from the bottom. No problem, Victor asked them to dig it out for us. It was exactly what we were looking for. There was never a complaint, a sigh as we kept asking to see other rugs, nothing. He was not telling us "This rug would work perfect for you", he just let us keep searching. We got Information on each rug, explanations of the rugs quality, patience and understanding from Victor and the strong men moving rugs. We very much recommend seeing Victor if you want to have an easy, fun time searching for a rug. Thank you very much Victor, you are amazing!
