- JLJames LocmelisJan 5, 20261.0When we moved our belongings in we were under the assumption that we would be getting the single storage unit that we were told we were paying for. We only realized, when we opened the rusty overhead door, that it was half of the size agreed upon in the contract. I politely walked to the office and asked if there was a mistake on our end and was willing to address as needed. The employee explained that the size that we reserved was not even an option and aggressively explained that my wife and I should have known we were getting two units next to each other and they will be treating it as one unit. Still not that upset, we unloaded our belongings and separated them into the units. Friday we got our third rent increase notification after just over ONE year of storing our belongings So now we are about to be charged OVER DOUBLE the original cost of the One unit we were supposed to be getting from the get go. The urge to post this "documental review" still did not cross my mind until today when I went with my wife to drop off a few boxes shortly after 6p.m. after the sun had set. We pulled into what felt like a dim lit back alley somewhere off off Division, as half of the outdoor lights were not working at all. Making it hard to see, as we had to back up and out, rather than drive around the facility as to what the pavement was intended for. It seemed like the drainage ditch on the north side of the property wasn't a good spot to put the snow. So they just shoved it to block the ends of every storage unit aisle. This place is a joke and we will be clearing out our TWO units soon so that they will have more space to put the snow. At least I could pull my truck in -almost- far enough to comfortably unload what we had to. I should have followed my gut instinct from the beginning and gone any-where-else and I will be advising everyone else to fallow suit when contemplating where and when to spend their hard earned dollars.

I have a good mind to sue them for false advertising, the woman said my fee wouldn’t go up for 3 months, I got a notice of full price starting the next month and she said that the prices jump every 9 months, it’s pitiful that these organizations are so greedy.
