This place is absolutely amazing. If you have any craft or craft like project it would be hard not to find what you need at a Hobby Lobby. In the case of my project, I am envisioning my dream home and building a scale model of it from scrap cardboard. (All those Amazon boxes are finally being put to good use.) This place has everything I need from 12:1 ratio premade dollhouse furniture to raw pieces of wood to build my own furniture or kitchen cabinets. They have all types of contact paper to represent flooring and wallpaper along with a large selection of fabric that I've been using as carpeting for some of the rooms in my model. From my experience Hobby Lobby is to crafters what Menards is to the home owner or contractor, it's got basically everything you would need or want and then some. Be prepared to spend some time in the store as you will be amazed at the sheer quantity and selection you'll have available to you and your project.

A great store! Wonderful selection, just a huge place to wander in for hours! I seriously spent probably two and a half hours in here with my friend. Was quite clean as well, with minimal checkout wait time! Very friendly staff too!

I think Hobby Lobby blinked at me first.... I walked in normal. I left carrying a wicker orb the size of a toddler and a conviction that I could emotionally handle owning 47 miniature glass bottles “for potion purposes.” No one told me the air in there is seasoned. It smells like cinnamon, wood stain, and decisions that alter bloodlines. I touched one roll of burlap and suddenly I understood my ancestors. The wall signs were speaking to me but not in English. More like… farmhouse prophecy. “Gather.” “Bless This Mess.” “Eat.” I don’t even like people in my house but suddenly I was planning Thanksgiving for 19 invisible pilgrims. There’s something deeply suspicious about a store where every single item is 40% off but somehow costs your sanity instead of money. I blacked out in the floral aisle. Came to holding decorative twigs. Why do I own twigs now? Why are they $12.99? Why do they look expensive? Why do I feel powerful? The seasonal section is a psychological experiment. It’s Valentine’s Day. It’s Christmas. It’s Harvest Festival 1843. It’s someone’s third wedding. It’s a baby shower for a child named Oakleigh. At one point I made eye contact with a ceramic rooster and felt judged. I went in for glue. I left with: • Two unfinished wooden plaques • Moss (???) • A tiny metal bucket • Emotional growth • And a sudden urge to own chickens The cashier looked at me like she’s seen this before. Like she knows. I will return. The wicker orb is lonely.
