Briar is a great supervisor/ manager and he corrected the things we had issues with, and was kind every step of the way. Kristy was always nice too at customer service as well. That being said, they are the only reason we will come back. Thanks guys!

I ordered the GE Stacked Laundry Center with 3.8-cu ft Top load Washer and Electric 5.9-cu ft Dryer; I paid for delivery and haul-away, and requested installation. The unit was delivered on November second. The first group of installers were unable to remove the old unit from its location due to space restrictions and advised me to remove the laundry tub to make room. I did as recommended, removing the tub and moving the old washer dryer myself to an open spot in the basement. On November 4th a second team arrived and issues amplified. They first brought the new unit into the house very aggressively and moved it around the basement with no care, slamming it on the ground. Next the installers refused to remove the old unit saying it would not fit beyond the drop ceiling. My wife (home alone with our infant at the time) suggested tilting the unit to clear the ceiling. A pretty reasonable thing to do when moving an appliance. They became very rude and demeaning towards her. They also refused to install the new unit due to the tub being removed (which the first group had suggested). I left work to come home and see if I could be of assistance to the installers, however, they made sure to leave before I arrived. At this point I took it upon myself to install the new unit, and a friend and I easily removed the old unit. I received a refund for the haul away and they finally came to pick up the old unit week later, so at the time I decided not to leave a bad review. This whole process started November 2nd, today is Friday November 21st and the new washer is malfunctioning; it is most likely the suspension based on our research. The washer is unusable, which means here we go again with phone calls and trying to get someone out here to fix it. I will never be purchasing an appliance from Lowe’s again. From the rude delivery people, to the product itself, this entire experience has been nothing but a mess. If you’re looking to buy an appliance and have it installed I highly recommend looking anywhere but here.

I shop at this location anytime we need something for our home. I love this store!! It's clean, well-organized, with friendly and helpful staff too. The way the store is laid out/displayed makes it so much easier for the customer. Their prices are normally better than other stores.

I went in the other day to pick up a small vanity for my bathroom. I asked Matt F. To grab the box down for me. He was more than happy to help! He asked what faucet I wanted, I told him. Not only did he grab that, he even told me other parts I may need. (I did need that too!) He walked the cart to check out for me, then to my car. He loaded it all up. I had my toddler in stow, so it helped to have the assistance the entire time!! He is an exceptional employee!! Just wanted to give the guy the acknowledgment he deserves!

To me Home Depot versus Lowes is no different. I go to either store to find the right product and if someone has it cheaper, I go to that store. Now I can NOT speak for Home Depot, but I do enjoy buying mulch from Lowes. They always have a drive up line to load it into your car. I LOVE that option. Even though I do not know if you should, but if I am buying a large amount of mulch and they are loading it into my car, I always tip a few bucks. Also, I loke that Lowes and Home Depot alows you to order online and either pickup at customer service or in a locker. I refuse to use the order online for an instore pickup with Menards. I got burned once and found out they charged (at least 3-4 years ago) $1 PER item a fee to go get that item for you. That is just wrong. The only complaint I have ever had with Lowes is I bought a toliet from them and when they got it for me, it looked like the box was crushed in. Yes, I should of checked it out at the store, but I did not find out until I pulled it out of the box that the procellen was cracked. No, big deal, I loaded it back up and returned. I guess I have one other issue, but this is for lowes/home depot and not just for Lowes. Compared to a smaller hardware store like Ace, you will find less knowledgeable people at thes big box stores. It is hit or miss on if the person the department knows anything about the product. Overall, this Lowes is easy to get to and you can enter and exit either from newburgh or warren road.
