If I had to make one request/suggestion, it would be to offer the same prices online and in the store. I was driving by and decided to stop and grab some containers but once I got to the register, they weren't on sale. I was told to order them online and come back to pick up my order. Literally the same order that was already in my basket. Luckily, it only took about 20 mins for them to prepare it so I waited in the car.

On the evening I visited, I only encountered one employee. She had glasses and was petite, and she exuded kindness, laughter, and helpfulness throughout my visit. I understand that I arrived an hour before the store closed, but I was still mindful of the time and tried to apologize for the inconvenience. The store closes at 8pm but I was still inside when they locked the doors at 7:57pm. However, I was glad to have bonded with Michelle at the desk. We chatted, laughed, and shared our experiences. It was a reminder that sometimes, the Container Store is just about the goodness of the heart - iykyk! On the other hand, I encountered another employee who spoke poorly about the lack of cleanliness in the store, blaming the employees for it. I tried to explain that it wasn’t a big deal and that I was perfectly happy with my experience. Despite the negative comments, the energy in the store made me feel rushed, as I should have been. Those who know the Container Store well will understand my feelings. It’s a place that can fill your heart with joy and excitement, even about small things like buying an iron. I wish I had gotten the gals name who helped with hangers and steamers/irons. She was a team member who made me feel welcome and appreciated. It’s important to support and appreciate those who make us feel welcome as soon as we enter and leave the store. Thankfully, the kind gal at the desk helped me sign up and create an account with them since I’ll be returning. I just hope that a little kindness is recognized and appreciated for its positive impact.
