    This has to be the most incompetent Lowe’s location in the country and I would recommend avoiding this store at all costs. I recently moved to the area and went here to purchase an exterior door and installation package and this experience has been the worst part of my recent move. We originally made the purchase in December with an install date in mid-February. We tried to reschedule the install to a date in late February but after the install appointment was rescheduled, an employee at this location cancelled the order without any authorization. Looking back, I should have left the situation there so I didn’t have to deal with what happened next. This led to multiple calls with Lowe’s corporate customer service team, the installation company, and the store itself to try to rebill me and reorder the door and installation. I was informed that my original rescheduled date in late February would be honored if I repaid the bill. I repaid, but the install appointment was still cancelled without our knowledge. After the installation date came and went, we called Lowe’s questioning what happened. The customer service rep noted that the installation could not happen because Lowe’s was missing material for the job. After multiple calls and waiting on hold, we found out the missing material was a storm door which was never ordered in the first place. Once we clarified this with Lowe’s, they rescheduled my appointment to March 11. On the day of the install, Lowe’s could not find my materials which I paid for and which were supposed to be at the store to be picked by the installer. The manager called me confirming that neither he nor any employee in the store could find the materials I ordered. I contacted Lowe’s customer service in Indiana who promptly found the materials in this store, and directed the employees at the store to where the materials were located so they can give them to the installer. I have been totally put off by the Lowe’s brand in this experience. The incompetence of multiple individuals through this entire process has been astounding and I highly recommend avoiding my mistakes and going to Ace Hardware or Home Depot for any hardware needs.

    The cashier on the garden department, I think her name is Michelle is so pleasant. I was telling someone she must have been trained back in the day, because she greets you, ask if she can help with anything, tells you she appreciates your business, and is always the same, Zi have never seen her present herself in a different way. I go out of my way to shop there sometimes.

    I have been a loyal Lowe’s customer many years. Up until our terrible experience that began almost two years ago now. Sheet Shades, a Bali product, custom ordered from the store have had repeated tears, broken handles, and shredded fabric. Despite several attempts at resolving these issues, we have again been ghosted by multiple store managers and the installation department and the manufacturer. District manager contact information hasn’t been easy to find. Each of the two shades were replaced with others that tore up again. The cheap plastic handles have broken multiple times. We’ve become quite familiar with the installer who’s been great. We were promised call backs for follow up, etc. Not one manager has ever followed up, so my husband and I have made several trips back to the store hoping to get the issue resolved. We have provided pictures and received emails of the intent to help. Wondering what we have to do to be made whole. I don’t even attempt to open them anymore, especially the one where the handle has broken off again!
