    Everyone there at the store that I encountered was friendly from the start and throughout my undecided purchases. Yes I couldn’t make up my mind because my husband wasn’t there to help pick things out! But Stacey Howard took care of me at first then got pulled away, then Kenneth Chahil came in to finish helping me with the purchase of my KING KOIL med/soft PILLOW TOP MATTRESS SET. Then I couldn’t decide on which dining room set that I wanted and he was so patient and understanding even between the phone calls I had. I very much appreciate Kenneth for his patience and help in selecting the one I finally chose it was the 7 pc TUSCANY WOOD/LTHR DINING ROOM SET.     David “DJ” was amazing regarding my purchase. He talked me into the upgraded base for my King Koil mattress and I love it! It’s only been one night but I’m already sleeping better. Brandon was my delivery guy and he was awesome. Delivery was on time, fast and friendly. He set everything up including putting the batteries in the remote. When he left I was able to get right into bed and enjoy (as I work midnights) Thank you Gardener White in Shelby!

    I see another local guide posted about their bad experience also. We agreed upon a price with a salesperson and applied for credit because it was feee financing. Credit has been run against credit score already. Received a call later that night at 7:20 by the sales manager Susana stating the price was going to be $800 more than what was agreed upon. Now we are stuck with a credit hit and not much of an option except to pay the $800. I feel like it’s a shady sales tactic and honestly Susanna didn’t care to help out at all, nor that we wasted our time or business going down there. Not a good experience at all especially when our price range was discussed. This is the hall road location. I wouldn’t mind so much but the hit on the credit is something we can’t take back, we already filled out the application and have had 3 calls from lifelock regarding it, so despite Susana the sales manager saying nothing has happened it has and I’ve got the calls to prove it. She wouldn’t give me a general managers name, just the corporate complaint number. I hate leaving bad reviews but this is above and beyond frustrating. If you tell a customer a price and have me fill out financing forms you should honor your price. $400 for warranty we also included and were willing to pay for and that costs them nothing anyway. Do right by your customer and give the warranty free at least anyway. I hope corporate calls and makes this somewhat right. Super frustrating. Update: They now have forced us to open a credit card with them now. Totally unacceptable and Susanna is no help. Can the owner or corporate reach out please. I can try reaching out to the better business bureau also if needed. Please help. Update: Spoke with 3 people from Gardner White who said they would get back with us regarding this and nobody has gotten back to us. Sent a BBB complaint in.

    I ordered my bedroom and living room sets in early October. When I ordered, I was told one item is backordered the rest were in stock, so I scheduled a delivery date two weeks out (don't do this). When they arrived on my delivery date, only 3/7 items showed up. After a lot of back and forth, I find out if your delivery is more than a week out, they'll give your furniture to someone else - which my sales rep didn't know. I went from two planned deliveries to having to do 4 deliveries because pieces came in one at a time. That was extra waiting around for them. During purchasing, they said I qualified for 'meet the driver' where a third person was supposed to meet the delivery guys and make sure everything was good. This didn't occur on any of the 4 deliveries. I even double checked with the store manager to make sure I understood this correctly-she said yes that's how is should work. Also during purchasing, they told me they will price guarantee for 30 days. I bought my stuff at 20% off, during the holidays it went up to 30%. I thought great, this should be easy to change. LOL - about 8 calls later and two store visits, finally got it settled. Overall, I like my furniture, but it shouldn't be a part time job to coordinate pricing and get it. Everyone I talked to was very nice, but getting anyone to follow up was a challenge. I eventually went straight to customer service since my sales rep wouldn't answer a text, call, or email. They ended up refunding me the delivery fee, which was better than nothing. Also, good luck getting a final bill if you do any price adjustments or use synchrony to pay. You have to math out the adjustments yourself. Very archaic. To be honest, thought I wouldn't go back here, but they had a good deal on a loveseat for a family member. When it was ordered and delivered, the feet were missing. Another two calls to customer service got that fixed. The furniture seems good, but up to you if you want to become a part time gardner white employee to get it.

    This is long, explanation for pics at end. I loved the ridiculously expensive mattress I bought for over $5k 2 years ago but it broke down to the point where the $150 Amazon mattress I bought for the guest room is the better option to not wake up in pain. Two visits and both guys said different things about what constitutes the bed being qualified for warranty. I think 2 years of regular mattress use for a luxury mattress and it being so bad you can't sleep on it should constitute a warranty. there is a huge gap in logic in how they warranty a hybrid mattress. They only measure the foam across the top and since the springs are what's broken down, that is not an effective testing method, even though we almost hit the mark for the foam showing damage as well. In short, if you buy a mattress don't spend much here. If it's on sale and you need a quick cheap one sure but it's not a viable source for luxury items until they take a look at their warranty policy. I will try to talk to corporate and make an update if they right, I really hope I didn't spend that much on a two year mattress. Attaching photos - They guy today told me the warranty only covers the middle? apparently you can't sleep on your side, I like to be close to my nightstand personally and I didn't know there was a rule on where I could sleep in my own bed until today. Look at the pics and it's clear there's one spring broken under the foam at minimum. Last photo is how it looks when there isn't a broken spring.
