- SBSteve BockmannMar 29, 20262.0Beware the price increase! I originally rented a space and liked it enough to recommend them to a friend….both were big mistakes. Within 3-4 months my friend received a notice that her price was going up substantially. They explained that the price was a promotional price and that “everybody” increases their prices after a couple of months. I thought it odd that I didn’t get a similar notice for a price increase but then a couple months later I did. They DOUBLED my price. Annual price increases….sure, makes sense but after barely half a year and to DOUBLE IT? That’s dirty. They know once you’re in that moving everything out will be a hassle and expensive. They argue that it’s based on “the market” but I’d think with as many empty units as they have they’d want to value the customers they have instead of jamming them up and squeezing them for every extra dollar possible. If you go, expect substantial price increases every 4-7 months (that’s the timeline an employee explained to me). Speaking of dirty, it’s not terrible but it’s certainly not as clean as it used to be. Fortunately there are lots of alternatives in the area. Check them out before checking out Extra “Price” Storage. (Kay who is mentioned in other reviews was great. Unfortunately, she’s no longer there.)
