    Pat was great, and the options at Gardner-White fit a nice variety of budgets for recliners. Pat asked us questions to determine what was important to us, then she guided us to her suggestions, but she encouraged us to try anything we thought we might like. We ended up selecting a higher priced recliner than we had originally planned because she carefully explained the features and benefits of the one we selected.

    WARNING: DECEPTIVE SALES TACTICS. this slimy store told us we could use an interest free payment plan, and only later did we find out that it was actually a credit card they had enrolled us in, while they never, ever used the phrase credit card, nor did the paperwork disclose that we were signing up for a credit card. Incredibly deceptive and dishonest sales tactics. Jillian was our salesperson, nice in person but she never disclosed what she had us sign up.

    Service was decent but do NOT purchase any warranty. Was told by salesperson "call once you have a few stains built up and they'll take care of it at once, theyve been doing it for years" did what was directed and warranty was not honored as we "didnt call in each stain immediately". Spoke with management and they said "we'll educate our staff not to say that". Co worker had same thing happen a few months prior same line from different salesperson. Couch has been great other then the shady sales bs and lack of management assistance

    Delivery team was professional and expedient however, I was missing the hardware and handle for 1 drawer in which I was told that someone from GW would contact me about within an hour of completion AND THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. The supervisor didn't seem concerned about the issue and only that the furniture was delivered/setup. AND...one side of my bed is loose and wobbling at the headboard and drawer does not push in easily.

    This is why in-store sales are trending downwards! The headaches and hassel of trying to get a new bed set were unbelievable. Picked out a new bed set and mattress, thought the salesperson was being helpful but, the mattress ended up being wayyy too high. I took my kids with me to pick out the bed and even upgraded sizes due to wanting to have more room for them only to have a bed that sat over 3 feet tall! They couldn't climb in the bed and neither could my dog! It was insanely tall. Oh and the delivery was a disaster. I'm still waiting on callbacks. NEVER once was I called, we had to call CS every failed attempt! attempt #1: couldn't deliver the dresser due to being damaged, wrong hardware for the bedframe. So...mattress was placed on the ground. Attempt #2: mirror delivered on attempt #1 was wrong one, didn't have the correct hardware for the bed. Dresser was delivered Attempt #3 replaced the bed frame and switched out the mirror. Finished set up at 9:30 pm. Called CS (still waiting for a manager call back!) & called the store to talk to sales rep about this insanely tall bed, he wasn't in. Left a message for him to call the following day. Shocker had to call the store and he never got a message, explained the situation. READ THE FINE PRINT! Restocking fees, have to pick out equal price or lose difference, need to sleep on mattress for 60 nights...the list goes on and on with the rules! The Novi manager worker with us to return the bedframe for a smaller restocking fee (their fee is 25% even within 2 days!) I just can't wait to get the frame out of my house & never have to deal with Gardner-White again! Also please don't schedule your teams past 7 pm- how unsafe and inconsiderate! It was 11 pm and your team tried to come and take apart my bedframe...please do your "white glove" service during the daytime. Target and Wayfair have NEVER been this inconvenient and frustrating with furniture returns.
