- CBC BrownOct 11, 20255.0I have been a tenant of the Extra Space Novi location almost since they opened earlier this year. Kay Radney, the manager, is absolutely amazing! She’s very professional, personable and helpful; also great with following up. Kay is also very patient and made me feel comfortable with the rental paperwork, their app and various types of locks. Overall I have rented eight units ranging in size from 25 to 100 square feet and currently I have four. The units are clean, nicely lit and well laid out. Some of the units still have interesting arched brick wall patterns which are attractive remnants of the previous structure. Extra Space utilizes an app which makes it quick to open the overhead door from my phone. The exit door is motion activated and doesn’t need a password. Both doors are very fast, so there is no waiting around. I was also able to create my own custom entry code. This location is also walking distance to a CVS which can be helpful for getting refreshments or snacks during a big project.

I now live in Novi and wanted to pay my monthly storage payment and they would not accept it!!! Very inconvenient for the customer!!!! Not a good experience at this location.
