- JJJoeNov 15, 20251.0Severely disappointed in this ancient shopping experience. I spent 2 hours walking around the store with my kids buying Christmas decorations and getting crafting supplies... Only to go up to the register with over $200 worth of items to find out they do not accept tap to pay which is basically just a digital debit/credit card. The cashier was cocky and condescending acting like every other store in town does the same thing when in reality only Walmart does. Literally every single big box store and local business (big and small) have tap to pay. I even spent $80 at the farmers market and hour before coming here with tap to pay... Even the farmers growing potatoes, apples and other vegetables understand the importance of tap to pay, but these people tried to play it off like it was an ancient way of paying. She even told me "Nope! We don't even accept checks!" Well, checks were from 15 to 20 years ago. Tap to pay is the future. Get with the program hobby lobby! We no longer shop at Walmart because of this and now we no longer shop at hobby lobby. Not everybody leaves the house with a wide full of cash or a stack of credit cards.
