I walked in and she greeted me right away, when I came up to the counter she was prompt in helping me figure out an issue with trying to find a reference number for my protection plan that I purchased a couple of years ago. No luck on the order number, however she did not give up she had me dial out to the Lowe’s Protection plan folks and checked on me as I was getting ahold of them, after no luck finding it in the LPP end they escalated my case further as I had proof that it was purchased. Hidy did not stop there she kept trying. This is by no means her fault, or her situation to deal with and she honestly gave it a good try. As a former Lowe’s employee this is exactly what I would want in a team mate and a customer service representative. Great experience! I also forgot to add even walking around the store Reuben the store manager greeted me, I have worked with him previously doing counts at the Big Rapids store for inventory and he is just as pleasant as he was the first time I met him. If my experiences continue to be this great I have no problem recommending this Lowe’s and this team to my friends and family in the area!

The person who gifted me one of them gave me a receipt so I could return and get cash back or use store credit. Unfortunately I had a poor experience with the return, the lady who “helped” me told me it would be going back onto the credit card it was purchased on directly after I had just told her it was a Christmas gift. I then asked if I could get cash or store credit even and she said it was too late and that they don’t do store credit or cash anymore. So I told her nevermind about the return and she said she had already done the transaction. So I basically lost out on $150. And what store does not do store credit??

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
