    I needed to make a return. After talking the the employees at the return desk they explained that I was outside of the policy for returning the item. They were very nice about it, but they double check and got approval to go above and beyond for me. Great people at return desk and over seeing this store. Highly recommend.

    In the first week of October, due to an emergency, my mother had to force open the interior door between her garage and her house. After this, it could no longer fully close or lock. We needed a straightforward and fast replacement with professional installation, so we went to Lowe’s. That decision turned into a nearly three-month ordeal. On October 6, we purchased and paid in full for both the door and professional installation. From that point forward, nearly everything that could go wrong did: • Lowe’s could not locate the door in their inventory after it had already been paid for, causing initial delays. • Payment information was subsequently “lost,” causing further delays. • When the door was finally delivered in mid-October, the delivery contractors damaged it and concealed the damage by propping it up. • The trim was not delivered at all. Despite the damage occurring during Lowe’s contracted delivery, Lowe’s refused to replace the door, stating that returning and replacing it was the customer’s responsibility. My mother had to rely on friends to transport heavy doors because Lowe’s would not retrieve or replace merchandise damaged by their own delivery contractors. Lowe’s uses third-party contractors for installation but accepts no responsibility for their availability or performance. The installer had no availability until November, then could not install the damaged door. After my mother arranged the replacement herself, the installer could not reschedule for weeks. Installation appointments in December were repeatedly canceled with minimal notice due to weather conditions, despite this being an interior door between the garage and the house. During this period, the garage is unheated, and the lack of a secure interior door allowed constant cold air into the house. This occurred during extreme winter temperatures, including nights below 0°F. My mother’s furnace failed and needed to be replaced during this time, and the prolonged lack of a fully closed door significantly worsened heat loss and risk. The door was eventually installed in late-December. Throughout this process, my mother was polite and patient, yet was met with missed deliveries, last-minute cancellations with minimal explanation, inaccurate information, and a complete refusal by Lowe’s to take responsibility for the contractors they hire and manage. We will never trust Lowe’s again for any project involving delivery or installation.

    My fiancé and I were there just after Christmas to grab the Craftsman 52” tool box that was on too good of a sale to pass up. If the guys that helped us happen to read this, we were the idiots putting that giant toolbox into and onto my Subaru Outback in a snow storm. (It fit!) The guys that helped us were SO helpful and helped with lots of the heavy lifting with my fiancé so I didn’t have to. We made it back to our house over on hour away safe and sound. I definitely recommend this store for their customer service!
