    Wow! What amazing customer service Mike F gave us! His attention to making sure we picked the appropriate mattress for our needs was definitely a five star experience! No pressure and he gave us plenty of time to decide. He went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable, if we needed anything to drink and did not just try to sell us the most expensive product!!! And it’s so refreshing to have someone so honest, we are looking forward to getting our mattresses delivered. I will definitely be a repeat customer to this store. Thank you so much Mike!

    I ordeted a chair and was promised that the chair would be delivered on Friday. Didn't keep their word. Sales man told me if we didn't use the 4 year care program we would get our money back, NEVER said it would be in the form of a store credit. NOT happy at all.

    We were looking for lamps with a three way switch. No salesperson in the store, no chatbot, or label information could tell which, if any lamp, had three way switches and no one seemed interested in helping us find the answer. We were told that we needed to go to a lighting store to get that information. We left the store and bought the needed three way bulb, went back to GW and tried the bulb in the lamp we liked. It, in fact, had a three way switch. Only one sales person was helpful. It appears customer service doesn’t exist at GW.

    We purchased a reclining couch and loveseat in February 2023. This January we've had one side of the couch act up where the reclining mechanism is crooked, resulting in grinding, a bumpy recline, and something prodding into your lower back if you sit in that spot. We submitted an extended warranty claim in January, and the technician that came out in February noted there was a problem but couldn't isolate it. Because of that, FCP closed our claim without our knowledge. In May, another technician identified the issue and ordered the part with a 12 to 16 week estimated delivery time. We only just got the part today after 26 weeks. Now, I have to wait 5 days for a technician to call to schedule the repair. During all this, the same reclining issue happened with the other side of the couch and one side of the loveseat. In addition, Furniture Care Protection has been unresponsive and unhelpful to get this issue resolved, and according to Gardner White customer service: once it's with FCP it's up to them on how to proceed. At this point, with the repeat issues and general lack of meeting basic warranty standards, we're looking to buy a new couch elsewhere relatively soon. The poor quality of furniture where both pieces have the same issue after a couple years - plus the poor quality of extended warranty care - is resulting in us looking to get reimbursed in some form to support that new, unexpected purchase. In short, we'll be going elsewhere for furniture from now on.
