Per AI & VALSPAR WEBSITE; Valspar paint—particularly the "paint and primer in one" lines—is formulated to dry extremely fast, which is intended to allow for a second coat sooner but often results in the paint setting up on tools, leaving streaks, and drying out in the tray. This is likely exacerbated by a hot, dry, or windy environment, or by using it with air conditioning on, which reduces humidity and speeds up evaporation. In other words they’ll tell you the weather wasn’t exactly perfect to use.

You might say, “wow that is a good price.”—it isn’t even close to worth it! Use Home Depot or anyone else!! We ordered blinds at the end of July 2025 and it is now February 2026 and the project is still not completed. Since then, there have been countless ordering and shipping errors, including yet another order mistake just recently. Items were “ordered” but never placed, we were charged multiple times for the same items, and refunds and reorders became constant. Customer service and management have been rude and dismissive, and corporate refuses to escalate anything until the project is finished—which apparently may never happen. We fully expect the usual generic “let us help” response with no actual follow-through, as that’s been the pattern for 9 months. Completely unacceptable. We will never use Lowe’s again.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
