  I am extremely disappointed with Maverick Pools. I manage a pool facility with a 275,000-gallon pool and a 40,000-gallon pool. In the summer of 2023, we needed to update our chlorine feeding equipment. After considering several options, I decided to hire Maverick Pools to supply, install, and perform the startup and calibration on the chlorinators. The total cost was around $12,000. By the time everything was approved and a technician was sent out, our pool had already closed for the season, so only the installation could be completed. In the spring, I ordered the necessary chlorine for the new feeders through Maverick Pools. The price was reasonable, and the delivery went smoothly, totaling around $6,000. However, when I contacted Maverick Pools in the spring to schedule the calibration of the chlorinators, it took over a month for anyone to show up. When they finally did, they left without getting either chlorinator working. I had both plumbers and another pool company inspect the installation, and they informed me that the plumbing was done incorrectly. This has resulted in inadequate flow through the chlorinators and has caused corrosion on my pump and heater. After the initial startup, I, along with others, repeatedly called Maverick Pools to request that someone return to fix the issue. We consistently asked for a callback regarding our scheduled service, but we never received any response. This pattern has persisted throughout the summer. Messages to the owner have gone completely unanswered, leading me to believe they are deliberately avoiding us. As a result, I have been unable to use the chlorine I purchased from Maverick Pools because the feeders do not work. This has forced us to spend hundreds of dollars each week on liquid chlorine just to keep the pools maintained. I will now have to hire another company to properly install the equipment in the fall or spring. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Maverick Pools for anything beyond basic pool cleaning or chemical orders. Maverick Pools is either dreadfully unorganized or deliberately incompetent. I deeply regret hiring them for this job.

  Jimmy and his company have brought a level of professionalism with honesty to the pool contractor space that is very rare in the state of Michigan. I work for a large management company, and he has changed the pool and spa services level in our company and brought it to the next level. I can cite on multiple occasions that he has found and fixed leaks in my pool that no other company has been able to find (saving thousands in the process). I cannot save enough about Maverick Pools; they are one of my best finds for my company in the pool sector.
