I havn't possessed any credit cards for the last 25 years. After I applied for the card it automatically charged the card for said jacket but the cashier couldn't make the 20% go through. So after 30 minutes of trying I left the store without a jacket (I canceled transaction) but a new credit card from synchrony Bank that I didn't want and only applied for to get 20% off the purchase. On top of that the interest rate on the credit card is 31.99% and I can't cancel it until the card arrives in the mail with the card number on it. Lowe's absolutely SUCKS at customer service and, obviously, I'm naive for thinking that Lowe's cares anything whatsoever about their customers.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
