I wish I can give zero stars. Never again. Worst customer service, staff and management at Canton Michigan location. We spent over 75k at Lowe’s. The sales person told us we have 12 months no interest on one of our larger purchases - we were happy. Our Hardwood (20k+) took almost 8 weeks for us to get it (when we were told it would take one week). We asked for clicked engineered and we received nailed down which cost us double labor and time. When we called to try to extend the 12 months, we were shocked when they told us we never had 12 months - only 60 day same as cash! So we got screwed and we had to pay $60,000 literally in one month to avoid 25% interest fee. On top of all that they left us over 15 pallets and we keep calling them to come pick it up and they never do - even though the delivery drivers insists that Lowe’s picks pallets back up. When we call to speak to someone, It’s impossible to reach anyone, especially the actual sales person trusted with your order. But if you have a complaint or an inquiry, Customer Service keeps telling me that the manager will call you back - No one calls back. So we call again, And still no call back - All they care about is selling you the item and then turning their back on you.
We purchased several appliances and every time the installer would come to install the appliance they would be huffing and puffing because they have to maybe go one decibel extra effort than usual such as carrying the appliance into the house or having to maybe break a sweat or something. Every single time someone from Lowe’s came to our house, they were in a bad mood. They did not want to actually do their job such as deliver or install the products - asking them to bring your items into the garage right outside the garage door is like asking them to climb Mount Kilimanjaro - something as simple as a delivery or installation was like pulling teeth. Wouldn’t you want your $23,000 hardwood floors to be in your garage rather than in the rain outside on the driveway?
You want to buy an appliance? Well, I hope you’re ready to carry your own appliances into your house and hope for a decent installer. The installer said it wasn’t his job to have had to carry the actual appliances into the house. And whose job is it? Was it our job to carry our appliances into our house? I don’t understand? Our washer and dryer was delivered and not installed. We had to call them back and ask them to come back to install it. Our last delivery contained even more pallets, and the delivery company refused to take the pallets back - even though they were for Lowe’s and his truck was empty. Never again - the worst experience ever - they made a remodeling project into a nightmare.
