How can I rent a unit?
You may rent a unit either in person, by phone, or by email. This ensures a smooth rental process and peace of mind while covering all provisions of the rental, answering your questions, obtaining the correct unit to meet your needs, and fulfilling safety protocols.
How accessible is your facility?
Very! We are ideally located on or near major thoroughfares, provide a long, wide driveway, 30’ wide aisles, and an easily accessible office outside of the secured area.
Are the indoor units insulated?
All units have ceiling insulation for heat and condensation control, and some are fully insulated.
What type of door is on the indoor units?
Most utilize a roll-up door to maximize space and allow for ventilation, and a few have a garage-type overhead door.
Do you have climate-controlled units?
Yes, we have heated and cooled units that also prevent excess humidity. Some are accessed directly from the outside with an individual overhead door, while others are accessed by a roll-up door off of a 5’ aisle after going through a service door.
Can we reserve a unit?
Only by renting a unit.
Is rent prorated?
The move-in month is prorated, but not the move-out month. You should vacate by the end of a month to avoid paying for the entire next month.
Is there a minimum rental period?
No; however, the move-out month is not prorated, and an administrative fee is assessed on rentals less than 5 full months in duration.
What is the monthly rent of a unit?
Rent starts at $55 and increases based on size, type, and availability.
Does the rental rate increase over time?
With rare exceptions, the rental rate is guaranteed for 1 year, often times well beyond.
Do you charge an administrative fee at move-in?
We do not charge an administrative fee at move-in; we charge a refundable deposit. For rentals less than 5 months in duration, an admin fee is deducted from the deposit at move-out; otherwise, the admin fee is waived.
Do we need a lock?
Yes, we sell disc locks, or you may use your own disc lock or hardened shackle padlock.
Is insurance required?
No, insurance is not required, but we recommend that you insure your stored items either through existing policies you have or through the insurance we offer as an add-on.
Are the units clean and dry?
Yes, we vacuum them prior to move-in and have not had water issues unless caused by a tenant or by occasional condensation under extreme conditions.
Are units accessible in the winter?
All unit doors are shoveled or snow-blown after plowing is completed. Some tenants choose to keep a shovel handy for touch-ups or use between/during snow events. Outdoor paved and gravel units are not plowed and may have impassable snow in and around them.
