  *EDIT: Very responsive to Google complaints as others have said, but will not truly help if you call. The explanations on mattress break in and the fees on exchanges were conviently left out in the sales process. I was told neither thing. Was just told my time frame for my trial period and not the stipulations. Kind of misleading am I right? Like I said guys, just shop online for a mattress, many of these companies will treat you better than this. If you’re going to lay on a mattress in store, then it doesn’t feel like that when you get it, you might as well purchase the mattress blindly.* Just go online to order mattresses guys. Those stores will truly honor their trial periods. I know from experience. The mattress I ordered and laid on in the store feels nothing like what I received. The whole reason I came to a furniture store vs shopping online like I have in the past, was so I could lay on them first to know what I was getting. Upon delivery I expressed the mattress was too firm. The delivery guys said it was because their truck was cold. After just sleeping on it for one night I was miserably sore. It was like sleeping on a rock. When I called to ask to return it literally the next morning, the sales people said that I would have to spend $300 after warranty and restocking fees to return my mattress. And to restate why I was wanting to return, the mattress felt like a rock and felt nothing like the “plush” mattress I laid on at the store. This is even during the trial period. When I shopped with dream cloud in the past, it was a hassle free process where they sent someone to pick up the mattress at no charge if you didn’t like the mattress. I was advised to buy a pillow topper to make my brand new bed more comfortable. This is insane, I spent over $1100 for my mattress and I have never been more disappointed. I cannot fall asleep and I end up sleeping on my old mattress in my guest room because of this. The nights I do fall asleep, I cannot stay asleep and wake up every hour with pains or numbness. I am so dissatisfied with the services and guidance I have received. I will never buy a single piece of furniture from this company ever again. I will also tell everyone I know about this experience so they will also not make a purchase from here.

  Used car dealership experience in a furniture store. If you don’t purchase the same day for ANY reason then the salespeople must introduce you to a different salesperson to see if they can (close you). This isn’t downstate guys!!! We’re relaxed up here

  PLEASE read all the reviews before purchasing furniture here! There is a reason that such a large amount of people are complaining about their lack of customer service and quality. We purchased a $1300.00 seven piece dining room set that my husband saw online- we drove up to Cadillac (as we're not local) to see it, and decided to purchase. They said it would be $400 to deliver, as we're outside the area, so we picked it up ourselves when it came in after ordering. It was packaged in an undamaged box, and encased in Styrofoam. When we took it out of the box, one side and the left corner of the table was very damaged, and looked awful. I called them immediately, and they had me upload the pictures to a portal she gave me so their service dept could see. She said they would contact me right back. (They didn't). I called THEM several days later, and was told "oh, I thought they reached out". I was then given no reasonable option to fix or repair- I just wanted the corner fixed- that is a LOT of damage for spending 1300 dollars to have a new piece of furniture. She said that if I would have had it delivered, they would have inspected it and helped me (what? You don't have quality control when your pieces come in?) I wish I would have read the reviews first- it seems like a lot of others have tried to warn that they sell low quality junk. Very expensive lesson learned, unfortunately.

  EDIT: Well they replied asking me to email them just to do nothing, I'm assuming they only reply acting concerned just so others will see that and then never respond to the email. Still awful experience and will update/remove if they do reach out and can come up with a much more reasonable solution. Absolutely awful experience. I bought my couch roughly a year and a half ago from Big Sandy Superstore and also purchased a 5 year warranty on it because accidents happen and I would like to be safe with a couch I just spent over $2,000 on. I recently noticed a piece of wood on bottom was broken and upon further inspection noticed there was a couple pieces broken and was super relieved I purchased that warranty on it and called Big Sandy just to find out they had sold to Gardner White...which I was then told by the lady on the phone that my insurance would still stand and started a claim. I then waited, and waited, and waited for over a month to hear anything back and what did I finally get? A phone call telling me that the insurance would not cover it and all they could offer is a refund on that warranty. They are offering me $250 back when my couch cost well over $2,000, what in the hell am I supposed to do with $250??? This is absolutely insane business practice and they offered no other solution. I would give negative stars if I could.

  Kayla was wonderful to work with as was the nice lady behind the counter. Everything was quick, smooth and pleasant.
