- BSBrandee SSep 2, 20231.0I’m so sick of DTE’s power going out! I lose my power at least 5 times in the summer alone! The winter also, and that’s when it really sucks no heat! I thought DTE was supposed to be doing updates so this doesn’t happen?????? This is the worst power company ever!!!! I hate u!!!
- ALAndriana LoveAug 26, 20231.0I've lived here since May of 2023 and have been without power for >24 hours on at least three separate occasions. The first instance was over a week long because no worker had the common sense to check that the address was correct, then twice more for wind/ storms etc. I've lived in several different states with varying climates and conditions, and I understand that sometimes these things happen; however the frequency and the time to restoration of power is completely unacceptable. As there is no competitor provider for energy this company essentially has a monopoly on the area and as a paying customer I feel that they have no sense of urgency due to lack of potential consequence like customers changing providers. This is twice now that power was said to be restored by a certain time but this timeline was missed by greater than 12 hours. I would expect for a company of this size to be able to timely and accurately communicate a timeline for return to power at the bare minimum.

- MSMike ShihadehAug 1, 20171.0My bill was accidentally thrown out and thus it slipped our mind to pay our bill one day so they cut our power we called and gave them a credit card through the phone and they still havnt turned our power on. They said it would take 15-20 the first time I called then 4 hours the second time then the third time I called they said till the end of the business day. And now I can't get an answer through the customer support number.
