  I ordered a dishwasher and installation from them on 3/7 and had it set up for delivery on 3/16. After the delivery window passed I called, and after 30 minutes of being on hold found out that the dishwasher was in Ohio, so they wouldn’t be able to deliver and install it. I set up a new time for delivery on 3/20. About 2 hours into the delivery window I got a call from the installer that he noticed the box was damaged, so he opened it and the dishwasher inside was severely damaged. So twice I had arranged to be at home from work for this and twice I wasn’t able to get this delivered. I was told I could call corporate and set up a claim number for compensation (though no specifics were given), and at this point have decided to just cancel my order with them rather than deal with more waiting on hold and headaches or bothering with a 3rd attempted delivery at this point.

  We recently had our kitchen renovated by Lowe’s along with several contractors. I don’t know if we won the contractor lotto or what, but we were absolutely thrilled with everyone. So much so, I’m going to copy/paste this review onto each of the businesses involved and name names that I remember so everyone gets a raise – ha ha. I’ve never had contractors so responsive – I’d get responses from everyone after about 10 minutes of emailing. First, Kathleen from Lowe’s on Jackson Rd (Scio Twp – she recently moved to the Canton Lowe’s) designed our kitchen for 1/5 the price another kitchen place gave us. She was wonderful, gave great advice, and gave us names of outside contractors to use. The Lowe’s hired contractors, JCJ in Saline, were amazing . Kate was so responsive. Everyone kept remarking how perfectly even Matt and Austin built our cabinets (countertop guys loved it) and Paul was fantastic with the shoe molding and adjusting the drawers. Donnclaire from Lowe’s emailed every week just to give a status update (even if the status didn’t change). Cristal from Lowe’s used her own car to pick up our vent we needed to exchange. At Kathleen’s suggestion, we hired the Fabulous Mr. Fix-It (Adam, Gail, Sydney and others) from Saline for electrical and HVAC and these folks were so reliable and helpful We liked them so much we hired them to do several other jobs. Also, a shout-out to Marcus from (what was – went out of business recently) Mr. Sparky – he was awesome. The countertop from “Cutting Edge” (vendor of Lowe’s) fit perfectly and came TWO WEEKS early!! Demo started on August 25 and we were in the kitchen by Sept. 26. Way faster than most kitchens I think. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and really liked our dog too. It was our first kitchen renovation and although it was really hard (we pretty much lived in the basement for a month), everyone who worked on it made it so much easier (sorry if I forgot some names!). Here’ are pics of the kitchen – so happy with the result too.
