He did a great job allowing me to take my time looking at my furniture needs for 3 different rooms. He gave great advice based on my color schemes and needs for each room. I found exactly what I needed and purchased it all the same day. I will definitely be back this year for more furniture.

However, the last few times I’ve been here, I’ve encountered rude and unprofessional sales people. They’ll give you weird looks and side-eye you if you don’t look like someone who’ll get them an expensive sales commission bonus, and will tell you that you “should go to Walmart to find what you’re looking for” when you politely tell them about a potential price range you have no issue making any accommodations for. That is an absolutely unacceptable way to speak to a customer, and I immediately left. I have been a Gardner White customer for the past 35 years, and after this happened, I would much prefer to make the drive to the Canton location, which has much better customer service. Shame that the Ann Arbor location treats its paying customers this way now.
