- TLTina LabonteSep 12, 20253.0We have used Lowe’s now for awhile. Service has been pretty good, however our last visit was not a great experience. We picked up we needed, then headed to get a piece of plywood cut down. There was a gentleman that called to get us someone to do so, after waiting for roughly ten minutes the one gentleman in the store that can cut down the plywood comes along and says you need to pay for it first, that was not a problem we went and paid. When we returned we then had to wait for someone to return to assist us. This was another 10 minutes until we had someone send out another page for assistance. We spoke with 3 different associates before we even got assistance with the plywood. This was not a very good experience, understanding that stores are struggling at this time with getting people in their stores to work. The sum up being, 3 different associates tried to help us but were not qualified to do the cutting so we were at the mercy of one gentleman doing different jobs because they don’t have enough qualified people to work the different departments. Not the associates fault at all. If you go to Lowe’s patients at this point is needed.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
