  After Maine Tree removed a tree, they left a large, jagged stump and damaged my driveway with heavy equipment, creating deep ruts and spilling soil across my lawn. The crew didn’t use protective mats, and the resulting mess required additional landscaping work. When I complained, the owner was dismissive, saying “it’s just dirt” and offered no compensation for repairs. Their lack of care for customer property makes them a nightmare to work with.

  Maine Tree quoted me $1,200 for a large oak removal, which seemed reasonable. When the crew arrived, they added a “site preparation” charge of $300 and a “stump grinding” fee of $250 without any prior notice. The final invoice hit $1,750, and they refused to provide a detailed breakdown. I asked for a written estimate before work began, but they claimed it was “standard practice” to bill after completion. The lack of transparency feels like a money‑grab rather than honest service.

  I scheduled Maine Tree Company, LLC for a tree removal on a Wednesday morning. The crew never arrived, and after three calls I was placed on hold for over 15 minutes each time. No one called back, and I had to reschedule for a week later, which also turned into a no‑show. Their customer service is virtually nonexistent, leaving my yard with a hazardous dead tree and my schedule ruined. I wouldn’t trust them with any tree work.

  This was our first time using Maine Tree Company, and we'll be happy to use them again. After providing a reasonable and fair estimate, Avery and his crew arrived on time and were very professional. We walked the property together and confirmed the scope of work. They finished timely, executed the work efficiently and safely, and cleaned up the property very well. We were very pleased with their service and will use them again. Mark and Cindy L.

  This is our second time we have used this company and we would never go anywhere else! They are impressive from start to finish. Recently, a wind storm knocked over some trees.After contacting Avery, he responded immediately and in less than a week, Avery was here not only for the needed tree removals, but also to assess for potential problems. The quote was very reasonable. Within 2 weeks our trees were removed with super efficiency and professional quality. We highly recommend them!
