BUT…. still really upset that corporate didn’t follow through with the promise of a discount if I opened a credit card with them. Spent over $2000, based on their promises of 20% off my first order. They ordered my merchandise on “the old system “, which didn’t cross over to the “new” and refused to give me the discount unless corporate put it through. Tried for about a year to talk to someone in corporate and NEVER got to speak with anyone. Got the card company to finally give me the lower interest since I could see that Lowe’s corporate didn’t give a hoot about honoring their promise. Really hate that I had to give a 3 star because I built 2 houses and renovated a third with Lowe’s in the south. The Bangor store did little to help with the situation, also. As a result of my frustration I no longer shop at Lowe’s, even though it means traveling farther to their competitors. This will be my final build at almost 7 decades and I truly am sad that it is no longer with Lowe’s. But again, I blame corporate for this lack of support to their customers.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
