Well, I tried using the scan code to leave a review, but Lowe’s doesn’t seem to provide a survey code for online receipts. Mental note for next time I receive amazing service. Brenda was working the paint department today and she was a rock star! She helped me match paint to my business’ brand colors expertly. When one color wouldn’t register with the paint match software, Brenda helped me find the perfect color for the inside of my food truck. I hope she gets the credit she deserves for outstanding service! Thank you, Brenda!

Have reviewed this nationwide chain in the past ...stopped in looking for some Astroturf, to replace the old decrepit piece I already have. And I believe I initially saw it priced at this time for no more than $20. On my return for its purchase 1 week later (2 days ago) it was priced at $25+ for an 8x7 sized piece. I did not pursue with staff - no big deal.

I go to the Auburn me location because your website says that you have home heating pellets in stock for 6.99 when I get to the store all they have is premium for 9.28. Really feels like a bait and switch. I complain at the check out and get ignored. So I complain at customer service and all I get is an apology. Keep your store stocked! We're still in freezing temperatures and need to run heat for at least another month! This is not the first time I've dealt with this and I'm about ready to start taking these complaints higher.

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is the second-largest home improvement retailer in the United States, providing a vast range of products and services to both do-it-yourself (DIY) customers and professional contractors. Headquartered in Mooresville, North Carolina, it operates a network of large, warehouse-style stores and a robust online platform, Lowes.com. Company Overview and History Founded in 1921 by Lucius Smith Lowe as a small general merchandise store named North Wilkesboro Hardware, the business shifted its focus exclusively to hardware and building supplies in 1946 to capitalize on the post-World War II construction boom. The company became publicly traded in 1961 and was renamed Lowe's Companies, Inc.. Key milestones include: 1982: Achieved its first billion-dollar sales year. Late 1980s-1990s: Transitioned to a "big box," warehouse-style store format, which allowed for a wider array of consumer goods and a large garden center, successfully appealing to the growing DIY market. 1995: Launched its e-commerce website, Lowes.com. 1999: Acquired Eagle Hardware & Garden, Inc. to accelerate expansion into the western United States. 2021: Celebrated its centennial anniversary. Operations and Strategy Lowe's operates an omnichannel business model, blending its extensive physical store network with a robust digital experience via its website and mobile app. This allows customers to research products online, check in-store availability, purchase online for in-store or curbside pickup, or arrange for delivery. As of early 2026, the company operates over 2,100 home improvement and hardware stores across the United States. The business strategy is customer-centric, serving both B2C (homeowners and DIYers) and B2B (professional contractors) segments. Its main competitor is The Home Depot. Community and Corporate Responsibility Through the Lowe's Foundation, the company supports communities by funding initiatives focused on creating safe, affordable housing and developing the next generation of skilled trade experts. A notable initiative is the $50 million Gable Grants program, launched in 2023, which partners with community colleges and technical schools to train skilled laborers for the workforce
