  This Facility is very clean,it did have a mouse problem6 yrs ago but they seemedyo address it throughly.I have rented from this organization for 6 yrs and the rent increases was too much for my budget.The final straw was when they went up on my unit for $80 more dollars a month.....,$80.,l was in disbelief,not $10,not $15. but $80.l went through a difficult separation & this Facility was a Blessing to store my many home items at the time(l'm not a store).When l called the Windsor Mill location a lady answered & said maybe l should down size,that's when l decided to relocate someplace else.l called Corporate and the call was redirected to the facility l rented from(go figure).I've seen tall ladders from time to time that was tall enough to look into one's unit & take pictures of customers belongings(maybe thats why the drastic increase came about). Upon my moving out of the storage,l seen a young lady cleaning there so l asked was she the one l spoke to on the phone and why the drastic increase after l had been there so long,l paid on time & never a late payment,she said Corporate makes up the increases so you don't be there too long.Whaaaat,l thought that was one of the dumbest things I ever heard. What does it matter how long someone rents,that pays her & everyone else salaries, collectively.With a stupid economy, stupid tariffs and stupid people in the Administration,most businesses seems to be taking a cold advantage of the Consumer & that unacceptable.Unbelievable but Believable. 🤦‍♂️

  This is the first time using an outside storage company. So far so good. It’s been only few days since contacting with Extra Space Storage. Clean, easy accessible and nice people to do business with.

  If I could do zero stars, I would. I am going through the worst experience with this storage facility and would strongly advise others to avoid renting here. Do not be fooled by the high reviews I like I was. When I went to move my belongings out of my unit, I discovered it was infested with mice droppings and roaches. Many of my items were damaged, including my couch, love seat, chaise, armchairs, dining table chairs, and an ottoman—thousands of dollars’ worth of furniture ruined. When I reported the issue to management, I was told there was nothing they could do because I didn’t have renter’s insurance through them. I spoke to the site manager, the district lead and the district manager. Their responses were extremely disappointing, especially considering the condition of the facility. Proper maintenance and cleanliness should prevent infestations like this in the first place. Because of the contamination, I couldn’t even bring my belongings straight into my house. I had to put all of my boxes in the garage and go through each one individually to check for pests before bringing anything inside. Luckily, I did because I continued to discover roaches in some of the boxes. This experience has been stressful, costly, and completely avoidable if the facility had been properly maintained. I would not recommend storing your belongings here.
