  Derrick Harris and the entire Lazy Boy Sales team were excellent. The level of detail, patience, engagement, and care I received with the selection of my recliner and artwork decor really proved to be a great purchase experience. I highly recommend this team and store.

  We purchased a James electric reclining loveseat from the La-Z-Boy store in Waldorf, Md Nov29, 2025. We received it Jan 21, 2026. Jan 24, 2026 I went back to the store to purchase something else, and informed them that it was creaking and popping, and I could not sit in it for more than 10 minutes without back pain. They told me they would inform comfort care, and they would be in touch. That never happened. I called Feb 2 to try to return. Was informed the manager left for the day, and she would call the next day. That also did not happen. I called back the next day, and was told we had to return it within 3 days of purchase. I asked how could we know we wanted to return it if we had not received it? She said thats the policy. I called comfort care customer service, and they said they had no record of me going to the store 3 days after receiving it. The only notes the store had was from me calling Feb 2. I asked to speak to their boss, they said sure, and put me on hold for about 10 minutes. Then came back and said the boss was busy, and would have them call me back later. But that it might actually be 1-2 business days. They are allegedly getting a technician to come out and inspect it. I said what happens if they say its fine. I was told the it would be up to the store to accept an exchange or return and there would be a 30% restocking fee! I am a disabled veteran with a service connected injury to my back, and cannot use this product. We sat on one in the showroom, and it was VERY comfortable. This one is different. When talking further with comfort care customer service, I was told that the piece we bought was made for taller people, 5’10” and above. My wife and I are 5’6” and shorter. Why was this not mentioned to us when we were in the store? Their quality has gone down, and their customer service is a nightmare. We bought a Lovesac at the same time. We got it before the La-Z-Boy, it’s cheaper and WAY better quality. Also, we weren’t lied to.

  Christine was extremely helpful in finding a new recliner for my husband. She found several for him to “try” for the optimum comfort and to suit his height, and ensured it would be delivered quickly. La-Z-Boy power recliners with lumbar and head support are perfect for anyone confined to a recliner when recovering from surgery.

  I had a wonderful time picking out a new recliner and the lady that helped me. Angela was amazing with the information she gave me. I was able to make the Best Buy for me. I have a condition that causes me to have to sleep in a recliner with my legs up all the time And she was wonderful and very informative and made the decision so much easier. We ended up actually buying two chairs while she was helping me my other half one around and found himself a chair too, but it was just a wonderful experience she was. She was just very sweet and very nice and I actually enjoyed myself yesterday. Thank you
