  From the moment of first contact, I have been impressed with the ease of the process and professionalism of the team. I had them install rock stairs leading from my front to back yard and in a matter of a few days and the utmost care I have a great finished product. I highly recommend Livewell for any of your outdoor upgrade needs.

  I was referred to Garner Exteriors (Dunkirk, MD) by The Sharper Cut Landscapes (Upper Marlboro, MD), as my landscaping project was not in the scope of their portfolio.  Since Sharper Cut is a highly rated company, I trusted their recommendation. Unfortunately, I must say that I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of Garner Exteriors’ completed project and their unsatisfactory level of customer service. I was in the process of moving into the home, which had been vacant for over a year. When I purchased the house, the yard was overrun with weeds and in desperate need of pruning, mulching, trimming and edging throughout. I met with Jon. He seemed to be very creative and professional. He even sold me on adding in some retaining walls (I love the retaining walls). Issues: After Garner Exteriors completed the work they just left. They did not even have the courtesy to speak with me before departing the property. Due to the disheveled state of the yard, my wife and I were shocked to see that they left. We walked around and look at the disorderly and unfinished work. Although it was a bright, sunny, calm day when they came out to our house, we found leaves everywhere including imbedded in the mulch around the trees and flower beds; blue spray paint was on tree roots and grass; broken branches and uneven bushes were left; there were even areas that had not been mulched and the edging lines were not strait. Their completed work was sub-par and far below my expectations of a professional landscaping company. To make matters worse, I emailed Garner Exteriors to express my concerns (I spoke with Jon) and sent copies of pictures that we took that same afternoon of the yard. He immediately followed up with me via phone and said that he would come out and take a look. As he walked our property he was very reluctant to admit that the work was subpar, and he did not address any of my concerns. Instead, he stated that he picked up a few branches! No one ever came out to redo the landscaping properly, and I did not receive any form of reimbursement for the inconvenience. In closing, I would not recommend Garner Exteriors to any homeowners seeking high quality landscaping for their property. Additionally, I would be very cautious in taking recommendations from The Sharper Cut Landscapes if they recommend Garner Exteriors for your landscaping needs.
