- NMnoel marshallMay 2, 20261.0I have spent literally thousands of dollars at Lowe’s but no more. Today I went there to return and item that was bought a year ago. It had been stored in my practically new shed, never opened, box in the exact condition in which I bought it in. I checked the store prior to attempting to return it to see if the item had changed in any way, including the style, model, new box style, ect. However, all of those things were exactly the same. So when I went to the return counter with the item and the proof on my Lowe’s phone app that the item was indeed purchased from there, imagine my surprise when they told me that they would not except my return . Btw, this was not an extremely expensive item, it was under $100. I have decided that from here on out, I will spend zero dollars at Lowe’s on flowers, building supplies, gardening supplies, tools, appliances or any other multiple ways that I have acted as a consumer in their store. From now on I will spend my hard earned money locally or if necessary Home Depot.

And he immediately came around the corner with a big beautiful smile! Helped me load heavy stuff I couldn't. Treasure this employee! Friendly, courteous service is getting too rare.
- GHGary HicksDec 2, 20251.0Went there to buy a stove and dishwasher. All the sales person and manager wanted to do was upsell. They tried to talk us into bundling a refrigerator with the purchase and we didn't need one. They couldn't figure out how to ring it up. We paid for the delivery and installation. They called and set up a time for delivery. That day they called and said they only had one in the store and sold that earlier in the day so they didn't have one for us. So basically we don't know when are purchase will be delivered. I have to arrange another day off work to accommodate their mistake. They have a device that tells them if they are in stock and they still couldn't get it right. They were so interested in upselling that they couldn't do the simplest thing and take care of the customer. Since posting this I read more reviews. There seems to be a lot of problems with delivery and installation. I'm guessing after the sale they really don't care as much.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
