  I had a great experience at Extra Space Storage on Annapolis Road—the facility is clean and and well-maintained. Andre provided exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to help me resolve an auto payment issue. He was professional, transparent, and truly followed the company’s integrity standards, making sure everything was handled exactly as promised. I actually left the office a few minutes ago after seeing Andre and thought to myself how lucky this company is to have Andre and team.

  I had an excellent experience with Extra Space Storage from start to finish. The facility is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and secure, which gave me immediate confidence that my belongings would be safe. The customer service truly stood out. The staff was professional, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. They took the time to walk me through my options, helped me choose the right unit size, and made the entire process quick and stress-free. The property is easy to access, well-lit, and organized, making move-in and visits simple and convenient. I also appreciated the clear communication and straightforward pricing—everything was explained upfront with no surprises. Overall, this location exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a dependable and customer-focused storage facility in Hyattsville, I highly recommend Extra Space Storage.

  This facility is unorganized and cannot address issues efficiently. I moved out early February and was advised that I would receive a refund for the months I paid ahead for. The refund was short of the full amount on my card and it took several calls to get them to issue it and I was advised it would return to the original form of payment (my card). Once weeks had gone by and it was not on my card, I spoke to three different people who told me conflicting information on my refund. Finally, one person told me it was mailed to my address on file. I advised I was no longer there so can they issue another. Weeks later I had to follow up (no one ever gave me a call back!), and they advised that I would have to wait until the new resident returned it to them. A) the plac e could remain vacant, B) not everyone forwards mail (a lot of people trash mail that isn't theirs). By this time I was dealing with Jacqueline and she was rude and unprofessional each time I spoke with her and cut me off. She never actively listened to address the issue properly and never followed up like she said she would. After being frustrated calling without any resolve, I went to corporate and told them the same thing I told Jacqueline on many calls and they were able to resolve my issue within hours meaning that Jacqueline was not following up. I would not recommend this facility at all. It took 7 weeks to get this resolved.
