Attitude from the lumber staff who were just standing around together, having a great time chatting and ignoring my presence. At At NO time did they take a moment to ask me if I needed anything. You know, like... SERVICE, or any questions answered.
I had to walk up to them and when I interrupted their mid aisle "meeting," they just went quiet, arms folded and waited for me to talk.
I told them that I needed a certain type of lumber cut and they said that they were only able to cut sheet material. There was no further words exchanged aside from my thanking them for their time.
I thanked them and they went right back to talking together.
I felt a bit guilty, somehow for ever having broken into their conversation.
Turned out that after more shopping through all of the lumber, we found some more suitable lengths of the material I had told them I needed. No thanks at all to the "staff."
We were literally the only customers shopping in lumber at the time.
At no time did any of them bother to provide any ideas, product information, or help me find what I needed.
Then when checking out, some poly-styrene sheets that my wife brought to check-out were actually part of a kit and unavailable for purchase.
The nice lady at the self-check station was assisting my wife when yet another incredibly "motivated" employee walked up and claimed that he "knew" where the product my wife was looking for was "back in the corner, back there." Pointing to the rear of the store.
He mentioned a few aisle numbers, and started to walk away.
Way to take "initiative," at about 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon.
Unbelievable. I guess it's back to the actual lumber mill for me.

Went to Lowes in Glen Burnie to purchase a brand new grill for my birthday. Asked the employees (not going to name them) at Customer Service if anyone could help. They said I have to wait a minute and nobody is in Lawn and Garden at the moment and everyone else is at a meeting.
A nice young girl helped me and my wife and I had picked one out. They sent a young man back to grab the new grill for me. While waiting, I heard employees yelling at customers and belittling them. After about 15 minutes of waiting for our grill, I asked the lady if there was any progress. She replied "you must be patient" as she stood there scrolling on her phone.
We left. Walked right out and not one single employee asked what was wrong. I own a business right down the street in Severna Park, and I would be embarrassed if my team acted like this.
Now it's on to somewhere else to purchase a grill.

Never buy an appliance from lowes. It had so many things wrong with it. Getting technicians in to fix the damn thing has been a horrible experience so far. I dearly regret purchasing from lowes

I recently went to the store. I had purchased something just before the snowstorm. Due to the cold weather, I was unable to return it. I have 2 low's account. I have a commercial and a residential account. I confirm my seat so I read a return. Some items they tried to look me up in the system without my receipt. By my phone number by my 2. Hello's card. My commercial and my residential was unable to return the items. I said to the young lady, Sarah. Sometimes I come here and I don't have my receipt but I purchase everything. I do not buy anything with my cash or my debit card. But I purchase everything with my lose account. Because I have 2 lose account. I try to return the item. She says, I don't know what's going on. Let me try, and she tried my email. She tried my phone number. She tried the 2 cars that I have. My 2 low's credit card was unable to return the items. She said, let me get my manager. She called her manager. The manager tried to do it cashier supervisor in fact, she tried to do it, he couldn't do it. This guy named will comes up. I see says, well, that's the office. That's Lou's policy. If it cannot be, you don't have a receipt. You can return. And I said, well, I this happened with me before well, this can't be done. He was real nasty, he was rude. He was loud, he was obnoxious. I think he really doesn't like foreign people. His attitude towards me was loud and he kept combating combating back and for his sister. Do not speak to me me that way he kept raising his voice. His tone he was very nasty, and I refused I said, can I have someone that's another manager? I am the manager so it must be somebody above you well. I am the manager said there must be somebody else above you. He insisted that he's only manager says, no. There must be somebody the store manager. The regional manager can I have their number name? He refused to give me the number. I said, well, I'm not going to leave you until you give it to me cause I know there's somebody else above you. He is very nasty. I don't think he needs to work there. I don't think he likes foreign people or people from a different culture. He is rude and obnoxious Lowe's needs to fire him from working there. He does not need to be employed there any more. Y'all can look at the cameras and see what's went on there. This evening to day is Wednesday at 5:35 PM.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
