    Always check your bank statements and Lowe’s account you have. My dad been doing his best to communicate with Lowe’s staff. An employee created second account, and taking my father hard work money. Certain staff will scam you. Be careful local small companies. Always check and don’t delay. First Lowe’s we encountered with this issue. We are not sure if is race related or if they thought my dad does not notice. Hopefully Lowe’s gives my father money back. Will update if this was resolved. A little update: one of the managers said to my dad, “you can leave a review, but who’s going to believe one of you people “. So for sure it’s racism. I left a review, it may not be seen but hey I’m truly disappointed.

    I will not be shopping at any store that does not have any employee cashiers. Self checkout registers are a huge inconvenience. Imagine how much a company has to pay for maintenance in the machines.

    Bought a refrigerator that was to be delivered, hooked up (water line) and the old unit removed. Upon arrival they informed me they could not / would not hook up the ice maker and when I started transferring food over from the old unit, they walked out to their truck and left without taking the old unit. I kept getting the run around from store to delivery agent. Never received a refund for any of the charges and never received an apology from the delivery company or the store. Lowes is NOT RECOMMENDED.

    Looked for a paint sprayer online and they said Bowie has one in stock. I go to the Bowie lowes to pick it up and they say there are none at this store. Manager would not match the sprayer and extension wand that can be purchased separately for this price. Thank God there is Home Depot close. I'll never buy anything at a Lowe's store.

    If you don't want to sell something, please take down the prices and display something that states that it is not for sale. I paid an employee to take a truck to pick up this beverage cooler today only for the store to tell my driver it's not for sale.. Frustrating when I want to give a store my money for a product they have displayed for sale and they refuse to sell me the product.. They said they cannot sell the display model, but please look at the attached picture and tell me if you would think that this fridge is not for sale.. I have sat on the line with customer service for 30 minutes, she seems to have just set the phone on the counter because I can hear people in the background. It seems she is hoping I will just give up which I guess I will soon.. I've spent $200 dollars between the employees time and the truck, and I'm begging a store to take my money.. Horrible costly experience at Lowes in Bowie, MD. Update: I sat for over an hour while I could hear the customer service people talking in the background (see attached photo showing over 1hr on the phone). The customer service people picked up the phone and hung it up without saying a word. I called back, they put me in some kind of doom loop where the phone just kept ringing for approx. 15 min.. Somebody named Trina finally answered and attempted to be helpful. But it was the typical story, "that wasn't me that did that", "I just came back from lunch", etc. I'm sure all that may be true but doesn't help with the accountability. long story short, I sent another employee back to the store and while I was sitting on hold for an hour, he, for whatever reason, was able to purchase the beverage fridge. So two trips to the store and 3 hours all-in on calls and hold. I have probably $500 invested in the effort to purchase a beverage fridge from the Bowie, MD Lowes.. And Lowes management worked way harder than they needed to, seemingly with the goal of making my day worse. This is the type of retail culture that fuels other people's justification to just walk out of these stores without paying.
