The older woman assisting with self checkout felt the need to scan all my items for me, checking between pots to make sure I wasn't stealing anything. (I wasn't) I assume because I'm younger and have colored hair, I must be there to steal. The whole reason I go to self checkout is so I don't have to deal with people. - OLOlga LannonOct 6, 20251.0CHECK YOUR BANDED ITEMS BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE. I purchased a facet set that had a plastic band on it because I had a leak in my bathroom tub. Once I arrived home and opened the package I realized there was no facet in the box. We were able to fix the leak but unable to return the faucet until the following weekend. I was told in store that they would not take the return and that regardless of if I attempted to return it the same day or not they still would not take the return. They also told me that they won’t accept my return regardless at this store because they know about the issue now. I called online customer service who informed me that they are unsure as to why the store will not accept the return and gave me a return authorization. I recommend shopping at Home Depot if you have a choice given the customer service is much better.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
