If I could give zero stars, I would. We ordered a new washer and dryer and had an absolutely miserable experience from start to finish.
Here is a breakdown of why you should avoid this store:
• Rude Service: It started with an associate named Dennis. He was angry about having to answer a phone call and took his attitude out on us immediately.
• Defective Products: This is hard to believe, but they delivered four defective dryers and two defective washing machines.
• Severe Property Damage: Their install team pulled the dryer vent out of my ceiling, disconnected it throughout my building, and damaged the flex hose.
• Incompetent "Repairs": Lowe’s sent a team to fix the damage they caused, but they arrived without a ladder or the right tools. They used cheap tape to temporarily stick it back together, leaving the hose and elbow damaged. I was forced to hire a professional company at my own expense—costing me $1,325—to actually fix the vent system.
• Dishonesty: After the first few defective units, the manager claimed to offer us a replacement brand "at cost" ($50 off) for our trouble. Those units arrived defective as well. We went to Best Buy and found the exact same models for $50 less than the price this manager claimed was "at cost."
We ended up buying from Best Buy, where the installation kit was actual professional quality—unlike the cheap, unused kit Lowe's charged us for. Save yourself the money and the headache and shop elsewhere.
