  I lived in Japan for 2 years and gained a deep appreciation for the serenity of Japanese gardens. Upon my return to the United States, I hoped to turn my yard into an oasis reminiscent of my time in Japan. From the first time I contacted Mr. Lee, he was professional, communicative, kind, and understanding. He is a true artist! Mr. Lee came to our home, made sure he understood our vision, and created a design beyond what we could have imagined. Next, we visited his property and learned about how this family business was started by Mr. Lee’s father (we even got to choose a tree planted by his father over 40 years ago). When we decided to add lighting and expand the design to our entire property, Mr. Lee listened thoughtfully and revamped the plans to ensure we could stay within a budget we were comfortable with. A few months later (when the weather was just right and our other outdoor projects were complete), Mr. Lee returned with his crew and spent 4 days making our dream yard a reality. He was on site every step of the way, carefully placing each plant and boulder “just so” to ensure the optimal result. The finished product is beyond anything we hoped for, and we feel grateful to have Mr. Lee’s work on display at our home… it truly is “living art!” P.S. Photos are a mix of Mr. Lee’s virtual design, work in progress, and real-life “after” photos… simply amazing!

  I'm delighted to let you know how much we appreciate John Lee's landscape art services which he recently completed! We now sit on our front porch daily to soak up the understated elegance of his artistic design & implementation. In addition to the trees and other plants, we were somewhat surprised at the level of joy we get from the LED Bubble Rock!!! His artistic talent regarding merging plants, space, & hardscape (dry river bed with bridge and lantern topped off with the stone obelisk bubbler) has earned our respect & gratitude.

  East meets West...tradition meets contemporary living....and somehow the blend works together like a stunning landscape. If you are a bit hesitant to go forward as we were at first, go visit John Lee's nursery. His unsurpassed oriental specimen trees will speak for themselves. John's artistic vision in creating a design that fits our yard/space and makes you feel like you're looking at a beautiful Japanese garden, exceeded our expectations. He is definitely the right person for a Japanese inspired garden if you can get on his schedule. If you have to wait as we did, you will not regret it! Everything from his design to the execution is high quality and professional. On top of all that he and Fidel are very pleasant to work with. You won't find a better company for this kind of landscaping.

  I've been a client of John Lee's for going on 10 years. He first designed and installed an Asian garden in my small backyard. He turned a bare, grungy area into an intimate space that my friends and I have continually enjoyed during all seasons of the year. He has also I installed little vignettes in my front yard and turned it into a one of a kind presentation. His regular maintenance visits keep my spaces healthy, neat, and beautiful. I highly recommend his design, installation, and maintenance services!
