A few days ago, I accidentally bought around twelve peppermint seed packs because I thought I was buying basil. Since I paid in cash and no longer had the receipt, I went to Lowe’s customer service today to return them. The cashier told me that according to Lowe’s policy, they could not give me a refund, store credit, exchange, or any other option.
While I understand store policies, what was unacceptable was the way I was treated. The cashier was rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. When I asked to speak with a manager, the assistant store manager, Hassan Halliday, came over and behaved in the same aggressive and disrespectful manner. Instead of trying to handle the situation professionally, he told me they would not help and ordered me to leave the store.
This kind of behavior damages the reputation of a major company like Lowe’s. Policies are one thing, but treating customers with disrespect is never acceptable. I hope this matter is taken seriously and customer service standards are improved.

Whoever was working at the customer service desk on 4/7/26 around 5pm has zero care what customer needs. She lied to me because she didn’t want to do her job properly to check on something then when I call back she had zero care didn’t even apologize about the situation. TRAIN THE EMPLOYEES BETTER or maybe hire better people that are capable of handling small simple stock checks. And care about the customers
