Lowes just let $2500 walk out the door because of rude, unprofessional employees. I went into Lowes at 414 Constant Friendship Blvd today looking for a solar powered generator which was unavailable online and I also wanted to check on ordering an electric shovel which I knew was not in the store. So before I went to look for the generator, I passed the customer service desk and I stopped to inquire about ordering the shovel. The customer service rep who I spoke with was named Trae and as we were talking another associate named Hassan walked up and started talking to Trae and completely cut me off mid sentence. I was raised properly so I waited while rudely interrupted and as I waited, a male customer walked up to the desk and Hassan turned and ask the man if he needed help. Now Im insulted. So I politely put my hand up and asked if I could finish being helped before they moved on to a new customer and they both completely ignored me. I stood there shocked for a few seconds and then decided to go find a manager. Well, it just got worse from there. I approach Faith who was at the self checkout and politely asked if she could direct me to a manager. She refused but offered her help instead. I declined and again asked for a manger and she walked away. My husband was on the phone and heard everything that happened. He instructed me to leave the store and as proceeded to walk out of the store Hassan has the audacity to walk up to me and question me about what I needed help with but at that point it was too late and I advised him that I would be contacting corporate. He then proceeded to follow me to the exit being rude and I actually felt threatened. I made sure to get names and I left the store in complete shock. We are also business owners and if any of our employees ever ignored a customer and caused our business to lose $2500 as well as a regular customer, they would fired on spot. That is not how you stay in business. And I could tell that they all were way too comfortable being rude to customers. Needless to say, I will never stop foot in Lowes again. If this is what they allow employees to do. I will take my money elsewhere. And we own a construction business so it's definitely they're loss.
